Hello and welcome to my little corner on LJ. This is my other other LJ account. My first one is for anything and everything, my second is for psychoanalysis of my self, and this one's for..

..I dunno, something else. For now, I'll be writing some of the tricks of the trade that I've learned over my time as a tech support person. Unfortunately, I have next to no experience with Macs and Linux, I can't help there. I'm the most familiar with Windows 2000 and Windows XP pro, and am fairly competent at other versions of Microsoft Windows as well. If you need help with something, don't hesitate to ask me.
I specialize in removal of malware (spyware, adware, etc.), and I also have extensive experience in networking issues. But please don't ask me to help you network a win98 computer, we hates it! (and the feeling is mutual. Really. Win9x doesn't want to network.)

Friending policy and such:
I don't plan on posting any locked posts here. That's what my personal journal is for.
By default I don't add people back for adding me - I keep "friend of" hidden and mutual friends off, so you can friend me without anyone knowing from just looking at my profile. If you want me to friend you for whatever reason, just let me know and I'll add you. This doesn't mean I will be reading your posts, as I don't spend much time logged into this account, nor does it mean I won't be reading - I like to read others' posts.

Story behind the name "Nagamori":
I was poking around on Jeffrey's Japanese<=>English Dictionary Server, looking for neat Japanese words. I searched for "gecko" and found it to be written "守宮" - literally "Shrine Guardian" (yes, there are other possible meanings too, but this one fascinated me)
Then I searched for names containing 守, and found 永守 (Nagamori, written with the characters for "eternity" and "guard")
So the name means "Eternal Guardian". I'm nothing short of in love with Guardians - people who devote themselves to protecting others. It's an ideal I aspire to.
So I created this username to provide me with opportunities to help people. (heh, as if I couldn't do that from my regular account)

I suppose I made this one to be able to focus on my wanting to help others, unconditional love and all that stuff, without the rampant fangirlism that at times dominates my regular journal.

The title of my friends page, "I'll come back and love you forever" is the title of one of Morten Abel's songs.
